Hill Crane Service was contracted to provide crane support for removal of a 215′ tall stack at the Rhodia Chemical Plant in Wilmington Ca. Crane support consisted of a 500 ton all terrain crane, 265 ton all terrain crane, 90 ton truck crane and 40 ton cranes. Stack was removed in sections upon which three guy wires also had to be removed at the same time while (3) cranes worked in unison during the removal process.
